Maternity Nurse Resource Guide

We have developed this resource guide for all of our maternity nurses and new starter maternity nurses. As self employed maternity nurses, you are responsible for keeping up to date with evidence based practice and training courses. Paediatric First Aid must be completed every 3 years, in addition to having an updated DBS. As a maternity nurse you are responsible for your own tax and NI contributions. It is also your responsibility to have indemnity insurance and a maternity nurse contract.

These useful links will hopefully help you in the right direction. If any of our registered maternity nurses have any suggestions or would like to add to this page, please get in touch.
